Step 1

Draw a large circle, and draw the guidelines as seen in the diagram above in blue. The guidelines  help to place facial features. Erase the bottom of the circle.

Draw three circles, two for the eyes, and one for the nose and mouth.  For the third circle, write a Y in the middle for the nose.

Draw two D shapes for the ears and a curvy W shape for the mouth as shown in the diagram above.

Draw sideways number 3 shapes inside the ears. For the eyes, draw another circle inside the first circle and inside that second circle, draw 2 small ovals.

For the pattern on the face, draw 2 curvy lines that look like an upside down letter 'V'.  Then draw 2 lines down from it.

Draw a rounded square for the body and then draw an oval for each hip.
